Education and Outreach
As involved community partners, Pridemark and Rural/Metro believe that the more we participate in the community during non-emergency situations, the more we can prevent an emergency from occurring in the first place.
Our employees regularly visit schools, festivals, community events, nursing homes and other organizations to provide health and safety education year-round. We also offer ambulance tours, car seat checks, and first aid training.
We regularly provide ambulance coverage for non-profit events such as the Arvada Harvest Festival, event at Aurora Community College, the Avon three-day Breast Cancer Walk, Jefferson County Century Bike Rides, Muscular Dystrophy Mud Volleyball Tournaments, numerous area high school games and events and the People’s Fair in Denver, and events at Arapahoe Community College to name just a few.
Pridemark and Rural/Metro also offer contracts for dedicated stand-by coverage of special events, charging reasonable rates for an ALS ambulance team(s) for large-scale, EMS on-site required events that occur in the metro-Denver area such as the Bolder Boulder, The Triple Bypass, and the US West Denver Polo Classic.
In addition to all that our company does in the community, individually our talented and dedicated employees volunteer for hundreds of events each year and sit on dozens of community boards. Demonstrating how proud we are of the communities where we live, work and play.
