Interfacility Ambulance
Pridemark serves both as a safety network provider and as a partner to the many hospitals, nursing homes and medical facilities in the Denver/Boulder area. Our entire fleet of ambulances can respond to both emergent and non-emergent medical requests offering Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support services and transport.
Numerous medical facilities depend on Pridemark every day to provide consistent, high quality medical care to their patients while transporting them between facilities. Providing a full spectrum of clinical care, Pridemark is available to provide the type and level of service necessary to meet the patients needs whether it is aggressive intervention requiring the skills of a highly trained paramedic or holding the hand of patient while monitoring his/her vital signs during a scheduled transport. Pridemark's professionals always put their people care skills to work first.
ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT
All of Pridemark's ambulances provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. Each crew consists of a certified paramedic and an emergency medical technician trained in state of the art pre-hospital care. Using their medical expertise, our crews assess patients and have access to diagnostic tools, medical equipment, and the life saving medications needed to meet the needs of almost any patient in an emergency. Being prepared with the appropriate tools, equipment and life saving medications is essential to a paramedic and EMT allowing them to practice highly skilled care on a patient.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
Pridemark equips all of its ambulances identically. While the ambulance is equipped to handle any type of medical emergency, it is also able to provide a basic life support (BLS) level of service. The BLS level of service provides medically stable patients with a means of transportation from one facility to another. Pridemark staffs its BLS ambulances with two certified emergency medical technicians trained in state-of-the-art pre-hospital care. BLS level transports give our employees the opportunity to get to know the person, making sure the patient is comfortable and at ease during the transport while monitoring their vital signs. Taking care of a patient during BLS transport requires kindness and compassion – two traits which Pridemark employees naturally exhibit.
